Lou Fryman Re-Elected Chairman of the Pennsylvania State Ethics Commission

Conrad O’Brien PC is pleased to announce that Louis W. Fryman, Esquire has been re-elected Chairman of the Pennsylvania State Ethics Commission. The Pennsylvania State Ethics Commission is an independent state agency charged with the responsibility of enforcing the Ethics Act as well as investigating and issuing decisions in relation to alleged violations of the Ethics Act.

Mr. Fryman conducts a national practice out of the firm’s Philadelphia office, representing clients in business transactions, white collar criminal defense, complex commercial litigation, as well as acting as a mediator and arbitrator. During his 45+ year career, he has received numerous honors and awards for his professional accomplishments, including being named a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. 

Mr. Fryman serves on the Executive Board of the Academy of Advocacy and is an adjunct professor in the masters program of trial advocacy at Temple University’s Beasley School of Law. He also serves as a mediator in the federal district court and a Judge Pro Tempore in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.

Although Mr. Fryman is best known for his contributions to the law, he has consistently given his time to the community, providing service and leadership to organizations such as Big Brothers/Big Sisters of America, The Episcopal Academy (Former Chairman), the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia and the Pennsylvania Jewish Coalition (Past President).
