Biography
Connell McNulty represents clients ranging from corporations, both large and small, to individuals. He has litigated cases involving contract interpretation, products liability allegations, employment claims, legal malpractice claims, and disputes arising under the federal antitrust and copyright laws.
Representative Matters include the following:
- Served as co-trial counsel in obtaining nonsuit for industry-leading chemical company in defense of tortious interference with contract claims.
- Served as co-trial counsel and obtained defense verdict in favor of employer, thereby defeating plaintiff’s allegations of gender discrimination and claims to over $1 million in compensatory and punitive damages.
- Represented family-owned construction company in defeating plaintiff’s efforts to enjoin company from fairly competing in the marketplace.
- Argued and obtained summary judgment for a London-based insurance broker in a breach of contract action, resulting in dismissal of all of plaintiff’s claims.
- Represented an international manufacturer in contractual disputes concerning the allocation of industrial gases in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
- Counseled an international energy corporation in a multi-national dispute over mining rights.
- Currently advising a leading sporting goods manufacturer in multi-state litigation where plaintiffs assert defective design claims.
