Meredith Rosenberg’s practice focuses on a wide range of areas including complex commercial litigation, securities and related class action matters, white collar criminal defense, construction litigation, contract disputes, and mortgage foreclosures.
Representative Matters include the following:
- Prevailed on request for interlocutory appeal on behalf of a national lending institution in multi-million dollar commercial loan litigation, and won appellate court reversal of multiple trial court rulings involving issues of first impression and application of more than 100 year old equity statute.
- Obtained favorable judgment on the merits for national lender in commercial foreclosure action.
- Successfully negotiated settlement for financial and operational management consulting firm in contract litigation.
- Successfully negotiated settlement regarding tax liability with I.R.S. for reduction in tax liability of individual.
- Representation of former officer of subprime lending company in class action suit before the federal district court.
- Representation of former corporate officer in connection with a grand jury investigation initiated by the Department of Defense.
- Representation of commercial and residential real estate developer in connection with construction litigation dispute.
During law school, Meredith interned with a medium-sized bankruptcy and foreclosure firm where she drafted and prepared a comprehensive presentation detailing the Pennsylvania foreclosure system for the National Business Institute seminar, titled Overcoming Foreclosure Obstacles in Pennsylvania: Title Problems, Bankruptcy, and Procedures. Meredith has prepared a presentation regarding recent developments relating to the impact of electronic communications and discovery on attorney-client privilege.
