Biography

Jennifer Welsh represents corporations and professionals in a broad range of complex commercial litigation involving professional liability, employment litigation, and white collar criminal defense.

Representative Matters include the following:

  • Assisted in obtaining jury verdict in favor of prominent Philadelphia law firm in professional liability action arising from complex corporate governance action.
  • Represented individual in civil rights litigation pertaining to wrongful homicide charges before the U.S. District Court of New Jersey and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
  • Assisted in negotiating resolution of Securities and Exchange Commission investigation of former Chief Financial Officer of communications corporation in connection with alleged securities fraud. Also assisted in precluding criminal prosecution relating to alleged fraud.
  • Representation of leading media trade association in efforts to prevent internet distribution of copyrighted materials.
